APPELLATE SERVICES. Post-merits hearing/post-trial motions, appeals, exceptions, and other appellate work related to claims herein are separate matters and, unless specifically noted to the contrary, are not included as a part of services rendered by the Firm to Client herein.


NONPAYMENT OF FEES OR EXPENSES. In the event of nonpayment of fees, expenses, or retainers, I hereby agree:


(a) To pay compound interest on any billed balance unpaid for more than thirty (30) days at the annual rate of 18%, i.e., 1.5% per month, compounded monthly; (b) To authorize the Firm to withdraw from any further representation of me upon five (5) days written notice; and


(c) to pay an additional 33 1/3% of any sum due and owing as reasonable attorney's fees in the event arbitration and/or suit is necessary to secure payment of any sum due under this Agreement.
