November 4-6 DanceTCU Presents: Fall Dance Concert 2011
This fall Texas Christian University presents choreography by dance faculty members Elizabeth Gillaspy (premiere) and Susan Douglas Roberts (premiere). Guest choreographers include Sarah Gamblin (TX) and Christian von Howard (Von Howard Project, NY). The con- cert also features performances of the 1st movement of Serenade, chore- ography by George Balanchine © The George Balanchine Trust with Repetiteur Michele Gifford, and Fandango, choreography by Antony Tudor, as per the Tudor Trust and the Dance Notation Bureau, restaged by Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner. The concert features original scores and live music, with lighting design by SCCDance faculty member Roma Flowers. November 4-5, 2011 at 8:00 pm and November 5-6, 2011 matinees at 2:00 pm at Ed Landreth Auditorium, corner of University Drive South and Cantey, TCU campus, Fort Worth, TX 76129. $10 general admission, free with TCU ID, non- TCU students with ID $5. Tickets sold at the door only.
