Looking To The Future: The JF&CS Strategic Plan OUR STRATEGIC FOCUS
Every three years a strategic plan is developed jointly by JF&CS Board and staff. This new plan creates a long-term vision for the future of the agency and short-term plans for moving toward that vision. In fact, these goals are an outgrowth of what we have been doing for a century and a half. As we move toward the realization of our aspirations, we will continue to be guided by the same mission and Jewish values that have helped us become the leading provider of comprehensive human services throughout Greater Boston. —Seymour J. Through this Strategic Plan, we seek to: have a profound impact on continuously improving the types of methods of delivery of innovative programs and services for clients; use cutting edge technology to capture and use data to measure outcomes and develop innovative and integrated models that will significantly expand our reach and impact more lives; and extend our reach through teaching, consulting, and advancing best practices, in order to impact many more lives.
Strategic Pillars
Three strategic pillars are the foundation of the 2020 Vision: Innovate, Integrate, and Scale.
INNOVATE
We will become a “learning organization” that manages and improves its performance on a continuous basis by the use of data and sophisticated measurement. This will drive the creation of innovative, quantifiable, and carefully targeted programs that will establish new standards of care and prevention among nonprofit health and human services providers.
INTEGRATE
We will enhance the quality of life for our clients through managing the complete continuum of care from prevention to remediation by optimizing the integration of internally provided services and seeking effective and sustainable integration of our services with other human services agencies.
SCALE
By extending our reach from local to national via teaching, coaching, partnering with and certifying other health and human services organizations, and fully leveraging the power of volunteers, we will achieve scale, and redefine the community we are able to positively impact.
