2010 at Jewish Family & Children’s Service
Jewish Family & Children’s Service continues to thrive as we build on our long history of innovative programs and services that provide critical care for individuals and families from birth to old age throughout Greater Boston. 2010 was no exception. Here are just a few highlights of a remarkable year:
Financial Stability We are pleased to report we had a successful year and the agency continues to operate from a position of financial strength in a challenging economy.
Our Mission Jewish Family & Children’s Service cares for individuals and families by providing exceptional human service and health care programs, guided by Jewish traditions of social responsibility, compassion, and respect for all members of the community.
Our People JF&CS has more than 600 committed and highly- trained staff members and we are overseen by a 36-member Board of Directors, selected for their knowledge, compassion, and dedication. The combined expertise, sense of mission, and passion of this group has enabled us to move beyond helping people survive toward helping them live with meaning and dignity.
