How to Thrive in the New Economy H
ave you ever thought that instead of being ‘down,’ the economy is instead just undergo-
ing a radical shift? Arjuna Ardagh, author of the na- tional bestseller, The Translucent Revolution: How People Just Like You Are Waking Up and Changing the World, thinks the old economy of consump- tion is dying and we are moving to an economy of contribution. A graduate of Cambridge University and
Arjuna Ardagn, Author
founder of Awakening Coaching Training, Arjuna trains people to become awak- ening coaches to help others awaken. These coaches work with individuals, businesses, prisons and churches, and on humanitarian projects. His presenta- tion, How to Thrive in the New Economy: Ignite Your Professional Passion, will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., July 26, at Unity Church of Tucson. After interviewing a number of people that have had “radical awakenings”
in consciousness, Arjuna says that such awakenings often release a tidal wave of creativity, generosity of spirit and a natural impulse to serve and contribute. His workshop covers some of the keys to this shift, such as recognizing your unique gift, responding to opportunity and awakening your intuitive knowing.

n preparation for their annual September 11 building effort, in recognition of the sacrifices made 10 years ago at the World Trade Center tragedy, Habitat
For Humanity Tucson has designated one of the 10 homes that will be started that day as a Tribute House. The public is invited to take part in this new tradition by making a donation
in honor of or in memory of a loved one. Every day, Habitat facilitates neigh- bors helping neighbors as the community comes together to build a home for a local family. At the same time, many of those in the community have experi- enced great loss recently from natural disasters and personal hardship. As a result, we all have someone we want to honor or memorialize. Your
tribute gift will allow us to have a lasting influence in our community, and it doesn’t take much to create a legacy for your loved one. A gift of $45 will pay for enough paint for one child’s room—$104 covers the cost of one window with the view of a lifetime—$220 allows us to provide a family with warm water. Help start a new tradition with Habitat For Humanity Tucson in honor of or in memory of your loved one.
For more information about making a dona- tion to the Tribute House, call 520-326- 1217 or visit Habitat
