Family Day At Wright Museum
The Wright Museum
in Wolfeboro will host its 14th Annual Fam- ily Day on Sunday, July 10th from 11am to 3pm Family Day festivi-
ties include; rides in restored WWII vehicles around Wolfeboro, a barbeque lunch of hamburgers and hot- dogs, authentic dem- onstrations by WWII re-enactors and Rosie the Riveter, touring the museum and dis- plays of WWII memo- rabilia from private collections. Admission is $10.00

After months of extensive
design and construction the Lakes Region’s newest family attraction is open for business. Monkey Trunks High
Ropes and Zipline Park saw its grand opening, Saturday, July 2nd
on the
grounds of The Funspot Family Entertainment Cen- ter in the Weirs. Bob Lawton, owner and general manager of Fun- spot, the world’s largest arcade, was given the hon- ors of cutting the ribbon for this, the third and largest Monkey Trunks in North- ern New England, the other two located in Chocorua,
New Hampshire and Saco, Maine. The sun shone brightly
on the start of the Fourth of July weekend as Lawton cut the ribbon. “On behalf of all the people
at Funspot including family and long-time employees, I’d like to Welcome Monkey Trunks,” said Lawton. “We know it’s a great organiza-
tion and it will be a real plus to Funspot, the Lakes Region, the State of New Hampshire and the whole Northeast of the United States who will be your cus- tomers.” Lawton was introduced
by John Kealey, owner of Monkey Trunks. “We’d like to thank Bob See MONKEY on 40
per person and $7.00 per person for Wright Museum members. Children four and un- der are admitted free. Admission includes 2 rides in military ve- hicles and lunch. The Wright Museum
