Reception and the AHS International Grand Awards Banquet, both of which were held on the evening of May 4th. During the Awards Banquet several pres- tigious awards were presented, including Honorary and Technical AHS Fellowships.


Other awards


included the Dr. Alexander Klemin Award for notable achievement in the advancement of rotary wing aeronautics, the Captain William J. Kossler Award given for the greatest achievement in practi- cal application or operation of rotary wing aircraft, the Grover E. Bell Award for fostering and encour- aging research and experimentation in helicopter development and the Howard Hughes Award given in recognition of an outstanding improvement in fundamental helicopter technology.
