MEET THE Veterinarian

by Linda Michaels

Dr. Tamara Hebbler practices in Solana Beach at her exclusive consultation facility, Healing Hope. With a degree from the Univer- sity of California School of Veterinary Medicine at Davis, Hebbler be- lieves that nutrition and

detoxification are vital to the health of animals. “The goal of holistic medicine is to achieve a balance

of mind, body and spirit together, so true healing can occur,” Hebbler explains. Using a non-invasive approach to healing, she offers a variety of modalities, including nutrition, nutraceuticals, glandulars, homeopathy, West- ern and Eastern herbs, flower essences, chiropractic and energy therapies. Hebbler’s deep understanding of the energetic connection inherent in the animal/human bond compels her to promote education and empowerment in her relationship with clients and their pets. I have had the privilege of working closely with Dr. Hebbler on issues concerning behavior, and I can person- ally attest that she is one of a handful of veterinarians who has a true interest and understanding of the bidirec- tional effects of health and behavior. She works to heal the whole animal. With published articles in the Price-Pottenger Nutri-

tion Foundation’s Health and Healing Wisdom Journal, Hebbler is active and highly regarded in the holistic veterinary community. She offers lectures throughout San Diego County.
