machines. DRGT understands how flexible cashless solutions can be and so offers the drTicket solution for gaming via ticketing (that naturally can be combined with drCashless). Older gaming machines are so given a new lease of life and can even be updated (reel-based) with an LCD update kit so that players can see all the account information on the iButton via the gaming monitor. “We make use of the gaming monitor to fully inform the player. If the gaming machine is reel- based, then our dr REEL SCREEN is the perfect solution,” explains Jurgen de Munck, co-founder and CEO of DRGT”.

The level of interest in the new, great cashless innovations from DRGT was clear to see at the ICE Totally Gaming exhibition in London last January. This was the first time that DRGT presented their cashless solutions for the international market. “Products should prove themselves in the home market before they are offered for international sale,” is the firm belief of the DRGT management team. “Therefore, we have deliberately ensured that the DRGT cashless range has proven itself in Belgium where we are based. We have an excellent reference customer, namely Partouche Casinos in Belgium where our cashless solutions are very well accepted by the players in our four Partouche casinos here”.

In-demand cashless solutions from Belgium’s DR Gaming Technology show international expansion is well on course

Cashless is the in-word in many gaming sectors. And rightly so. Cashless gaming is a real win-win for both operators and players. One of the key players in the sector right now is DRGT, which has brought new innovation to the cashless market segment. Now all gaming machines – regardless of whether they are reel- or video-based, regardless of how old they are, regardless of whom the machine manufacturer is – 100 per cent of the gaming machines in operation can go cashless.

Gone are the days when operators had to

update their machine park to go cashless. Furthermore, the drCashless solutions have been innovatively designed that they are the perfect solution regardless of how many gaming machines are linked together – from just a small number right up to thousands. And this innovative design means that it is set at an customer-friendly price.

DRGT has developed a full range of cashless solutions. drCashless centres around the iButton cashless solution which is simple, convenient and cost- effective to integrate into gaming

DRGT is a completely independent gaming company. This gives the company the added flexibility to tailor cashless solutions whenever required. The perfect example is in Ireland. Many Irish visitors to the DRGT stand in London expressed their interest yet specific requirements to be able to integrate this. By the time of the Irish AmEx exhibition in Dublin in March, DRGT had Irish-specific cashless solutions, including the Mystery Progressive Jackpot called Olympic Fire.

The drJackpot solution not just brings cashless to gaming machines on the slot floor but can link them together in a multi-level progressive jackpot. “We wish to bring continued innovation to the cashless market”, explains Michiel van Dam, co-founder and COO of DRGT. “Operators often face the predicament that the players like older slots but could not go cashless on the complete machine park. The combination of older with new slots means that players have the greatest gaming choice. DRGT opens the door to cashless on every type of gaming machine. Furthermore, the fact that all slots can be linked via drJackpot means the door has also opened for jackpot systems on all types of gaming machines as well.”
