In describing the difference its new premium built-in range offers, Hotpoint introduces the concept of ‘high definition cooking’
A BRAND
new premium built-in range is
one of the highlights of a large scale product launch from Hotpoint. Inspired by minimalist Italian design and passion for cooking, the Luce range consists of a full product line- up, available exclusively through kitchen specialists from this month. It includes ovens, hobs, hoods, fridge
drawers, dishwasher and sleek 45cm compact appliances. The single ovens incorporate what
Hotpoint describes as a technologically advanced ‘High Definition Cooking’ system that delivers the right amount of heat for the best results. This is managed by a Hotpoint patented electronic control that circulates two different streams of air, cooking food with a constant even heat. There are a range of ovens
with energy ratings up to A-20 per cent, along with cooking programmes created by chef Phillipe Roget that recommend the best shelf position, temperatures and cooking time for a range of dishes.
The SX1049QCX and SX1046QPX single
ovens have a soft close door, LED lighting and mono dial control for accessing the 30 cooking programmes on offer. Luce Openspace provides similarly
energy efficient cooking but with double oven versatility in a single oven space with a substantial 70 litre capacity The Luce gas hobs are an intriguing new take on gas flame technology. Its direct flame burners deliver heat directly to the
base of the pan through a single, flat unit covered in hundreds of tiny holes. Hotpoint says that this not only saves 20 per cent in time and energy compared to standard burners, but that the burners are also easy to clean as there are no grooves and gaps to get clogged with residue, and the whole unit can be placed in the dishwasher. The hobs are available in 60cm and
75cm widths with a stainless steel or glass base and cast iron pan supports.
