Lisa welcomes guests to Compton House with wonderful cooking, homely interiors and friendly smile, all creating a wonderful atmosphere. Guests come from all over the globe, including celebrities, and many have become firm friends with a worldwide Compton House community developing over the breakfast table. Lisa’s love of cooking is shared with husband, Marko, who makes the stunning breakfasts while Lisa serves up delightful creations for dinner. In fact, Lisa’s culinary skills are set for a new challenge as she creates the Compton House Cookery Book. This is just one of many ventures she is taking on at Compton House including Dinners with Speakers, How to Run a B&B weekends and selling homemade marmalade, pickles, jams and muesli.


Commenting on being awarded the title of AA’s Friendliest Landlady Lisa said, “I am honoured to have won this award and to be recognised for doing something that I love doing.
