Dear ShowBiz, Dear ShowBiz,
Charlotte Simpson Spokane, Idaho
Dear ShowBiz,
Matt and Lindsey Archer have their Shady Lane Farm up here in our neck of the woods. They are an inspiration in the horse show world as they balance family, business and their personal life all at the same time. My family has known both of them since they were young and it’s a treat to see how successful they now are. Great article.

Dear ShowBiz,
The Young Professional article was timely and a bit controversial as it’s a sensitive sub- ject to write about. While the young people are looking to get ahead, some have missed the very core of success...hard work, commit- ment and loyalty. Hopefully it will be as well received as it was in our area where shingles are being hung out without roots. Nice to see ShowBiz kindly write about a problem in our sport, I thought you handled it nicely.

Dear ShowBiz,
Twinkle Gorman is a delight and I was so happy to see her story in ShowBiz. When someone is as dedicated as she has been for so many years, it is pleasant to have her get recog- nized as much as she has this winter. Beginning with the Zone 10 Banquet in Vegas and then right on to your maga- zine, she deserves the limelight. Thank you for making her one of your features, those of us out here who have watched her horses decade after decade found it an interesting read.

FROM OUR READERS
It was interesting to find Ragtime Cowboy on the cover of the last issue of your magazine. The breeding division is an important part of the sport but it seems to get overlooked most of the time. That horse is an example of what American breeding programs can develop and I am sure I am not the only one who appreciates your efforts. Thank you from the American breeders!
