The Link Thamesmead Centre Manager
£40,000 PA circa A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen with Trust Thamesmead – a leading community development organisation in SE London – to take up the reins of our brand new, state-of-the-art youth and community facility The Link Thamesmead.
The Link Thamesmead will offer a diverse range of services to young people and the wider community of Thamesmead including sporting, arts and cultural activities, as well as educational and volunteering opportunities.
The successful candidate will work with our Head of Social Enterprise to ensure maximum usage of the facilities and be responsible for the programming and promotion of all activities focusing on those that support our charitable objectives.
We are looking for someone with the energy and commitment to provide an exceptional customer service culture and demonstrate excellent management skills to drive the best possible results from the staff team and our delivery partners, both operationally and in terms of business growth.

Project Offi cers
The Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge Salary: £30-33k pro rata, Contract: 6 months
Location: 3 posts based in London with travel to either the West Midlands, East Midlands or South West
Project Offi cers will help to deliver the Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge through engaging with local authorities, town and parish councils and other landowners to help secure the protection of 2012 outdoor recreational spaces by 2012.

Situated in the Peak District National Park, the Derbyshire Dales is a popular tourist destination, with around 5 million visitors each year. The District Council’s Leisure Service has facilities across the District, with sites situated in four of the fi ve market towns.
We are looking to appoint someone who is able to manage our new £12m leisure facility to a very high standard, developing it into a major attraction within the tourism market and capitalising on its regional competition standard facilities.
You will need to be a natural team leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Excellent customer service skills are crucial to your success in this role.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience of developing a successful workforce, achieving sales targets and have a solid understanding of the tourism market.

Lee Valley Regional Park is a 10,000 acre, 26 mile long mosaic of award-winning parklands, sports venues, heritage sites, gardens, nature reserves and riverside walks. We’re also a key player in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Managing the day-to-day operation of one of London’s premier Ice Centres, including Front of House, Reception and Café, you will take responsibility for Health & Safety and identifying areas of improvement to ensure that the facility consistently provides a memorable experience for our visitors.
You should have relevant experience in a leisure environment and the ability to supervise and motivate staff. Strong customer service skills and a flexible, enthusiastic approach to work are essential.
