Purple Butterfly Supports SUP Race Event

s a sponsor of the SUP (Stand Up and Paddle) Race to benefit Spe- cial Olympics of Collier County, taking place May 21 at Bayfront, in Naples, The Purple Butterfly will provide 10-minute chair massages, beginning at 10 a.m., and a raffle for a free 60-minute massage therapy session at its Naples facility. All proceeds from the massages and raffle will be donated to the Special Olympics organization.

The Purple Butterfly specializes in relieving pain and enhancing relaxation by blending various therapies and mas- sage methods, including Swedish and deep tissue massage; aromatherapy; polarity therapy; Chinese craniosacral therapy; acupressure; myofascial release; reflexology; EFT; and Reiki. “Come out to this family event and support a great cause,
get a chair massage, participate in the race and have an awe- some time,” says owner and licensed Massage Therapist Joy Shockley. Regarding her practice, she adds: “We listen to your needs and goals and design a therapy session especially for you. We use only all-natural, organic massage oils and organic essential oils for aromatherapy.”
