Worth It Café to Celebrate First Anniversary in the Triangle
orth It Café in Research Triangle Park is celebrating its first anniversary. Husband and wife team/owners, Aileen and Chef Chuck Hayworth have provided catering and craft services to the film and television industry for the last seven years. In 2010, they opened Worth It Café to bring their organic, local and delectable recipes to the entire Tri- angle community. What makes Worth It Café different? 95% of their reci-
W
pes use produce and ingredients from local farms, with the remaining 5% sourced from the southeastern seaboard. Us- ing fresh ingredients from local farmers supports the local economy and provides members of the community with nourishing and appetizing meals. Chuck Hayworth, nicknamed “Organic Chef” by his cli-
ents, comments, “Personally, I am an advocate of local and organic foods because I am a ten-year cancer survivor. It’s so important for us to know where our food is coming from, what methods local farmers’ use and how to include healthy ingredients in delicious recipes.” Worth It Café offers vegetarian and vegan options as well as low-gluten and gluten-free selections and a full children’s
menu. Worth It Café offers a menu that is sure to make your mouth water in a welcoming quick service environment. In addition to hearty American food and international recipes, they will be unveiling their new menu in May. The summer will also bring Carolina Brunch on Sundays to provide a delicious and fun way to unwind and enjoy the weekend. Chef Chuck Hayworth will also begin his extraordinary
tasting events. With full kitchen access, parties will taste prepared recipes and learn how to make them as Chef Chuck invites the community to step into his kitchen and discover the love of cooking with fresh ingredients. Whether busy professionals or families-on-the-go, many find they just don’t have time to cook. That doesn’t mean you have to abandon your commitment to local farmer’s markets and organic produce. Join us in celebrating the first anniversary at Worth It Café!
