management and treatment alter- natives, end-product differentia- tion for organic and/or biodynamic wines, and value added products like neutraceuticals. “Because of the need for a crop

to replace tobacco, and the desire of land-owners, farmers, and growers to find a sustainable market so that they can keep their land, there’s a lot of interest in alternative crops here in the mountains,” according to David Kendall, Madison County Extension agent. By necessity, sustainable means

used to treat inflammation in racehorse legs, is now back on the market in its original doctor recommended clinical formula. According to a national drug store survey,

HIALEAH, FL — An ingredient often

the formula at one time became so popular that it rose to the top of pharmacy sales for topical pain relievers. But the company mar- keting the product at the time changed the formula and sales plummeted. One of the inventors of the original formula has brought it back to the market under the trade name ARTH ARREST and says it can relieve pain for millions. ARTH ARREST works by a dual mecha-

nism whereby one ingredient relieves pain immediately, while a second ingredient seeks out and destroys the pain messenger signal before it can be sent to the brain. Consid- ered a medical miracle by some, the ARTH ARREST formula is useful in the treatment of painful disorders ranging from minor aches and pains to more serious conditions such as arthritis, bursitis, rheumatism, ten- donitis, backache and more. ARTH ARREST is available in a conve-

nient roll-on applicator at pharmacies with- out a prescription or call 1-800-339-3301. or at:

North Buncombe Hero

Tis week the Heroes of the Week are the businesses, such as local

retail stores, and government offices, such as the Town of Woodfin, located in North Buncombe that stayed open and available to the residents during the recent round of winter weather. While the safety of employees should always be considered, business and government offices that are able to provide services on days with inclement weather are an invaluable resource to those who have to venture out on treach- erous days. Teir dedication is vital, and it is the reason they are this week’s Heroes of the Week.
