Tasty treats fill hall
Local produce was celebrated at an event attended by dozens of people at St Martin’s Church Hall in Looe.
The Field and Fish Feast, organised by South East Cornwall Liberal Democrats, gave guests the opportunity to sample locally- grown, organic vegetables and other treats including fish pie.
Dancers from Sheila’s School of Dancing entertained the crowds with a performance of All That Jazz.

Law degree for Emily
Blues Brothers event raises funds
Emily Bailey, a former pupil of Looe Community School and Cornwall College St Austell has graduated from the University of the West of England, Bristol. She achieved a 2:1 Bachelor of Laws degree.
The chief executive of the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust accepted a cheque for £541.67 from the Hannafore Point Hotel, Looe. The hotel raised the money for the charity at a Blues Brothers event in November. Managing director of the hotel group Edward Bence said: ‘We are delighted with how much we have raised and would like to thank everyone who supported the event, which has been one in a series of a events supporting local charities.’ Hotel facilities manager Roger Minter and Mr Bence presented the cheque to Paula Martin.
