AFC Fairs focused on a successful 2011


AFC fairs are looking to continue their 2010 success straight through 2011.


The first fair will be on January 30 at the Millennium House, Pensilva, Liskeard.


This one day fair with up to 70 stands in two rooms always has


Victorian paintings, vintage clothing, Exeter silver, Beswick, Doulton and the like, postcards, jewellery and treen. Admission £1.50; 9.30am - 3.30pm


The second fair in February is back at the Millennium House, Pensilva on February 20, and the final fair of February is held at Exeter Racecourse on February 25 and 26.


The racecourse is a wonderful location minutes from the M5 just off the A38.

a good and varied selection of interesting antiques and collectables from furniture, metal ware, china, postcards to jewellery. Admission 50p; 10.00am - 4.00pm.


February brings three fairs for AFC, the first on February 6 is a one day fair at the beautiful location of St Mellion International Golf Resort, Saltash, with up to 105 stalls, three rooms - one solely for furniture.


There is always a very good selection of antiques on offer - expect to find


This fair sees traders from slightly further a field bringing in a large range of antiques both inside and outside - find Lalique, Exeter silver, coins, furniture and much more here. Admission £2.50; Friday 9am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 4pm.


Another date for your diary - (apart from all the other AFC Fair dates) is Easter weekend, April 22 and 23 at The Royal Cornwall Showground.


This sees the first of the two fairs at the showground in 2011. This large venue has two buildings - the Pavilion and the Exhibition Hall - as well as numerous outside stands.


This year for something a little different AFC are incorporating classic cars and an auto jumble as well as having ‘Bargain Hunt’ in attendance - so there really will be something for everyone plus entertainment from local duo the Sidewinders and a hog roast on Friday evening.
