Videx Inc. announces two additions to the CyberLock


family of access control products: a Mini Keyport and the WebStation. These new products are used to pass information between the CyberLock access management software and electronic keys. CyberLock is an electronic lock system that allows electronic keys to be programmed with an access schedule for opening locks. The system’s locks and keys provide an audit report of each opening and


unauthorized attempt to enter. The Mini Keyport and WebStation are communication devices. The Mini Keyport offers another option for users that want to update their keys from a remote location. WebStation is a docking station for the CyberKey that can be used to connect directly to a desktop computer or to the network.

NEW SHOTCRETE MANUAL ON FLASH DRIVE


The American Shotcrete Association (ASA) has released “Shotcrete for Repair and Rehabilitation of Concrete Structures,” which is the first in a series of digital PowerPoint presentations designed to provide specifiers with a better understanding of the shotcrete process. It focuses on the use of shotcrete for concrete repair and rehabilitation applica-


tions. Topics include shotcrete references, definitions, processes, uses and important components of a shot- crete specification. The presentation is provided on a 2 gigabyte USB flash drive ($25 US for ASA Members, $45 US for non-members), which includes three ASA publications.


UNIVERSAL TRANSMITTER FOR COMMERCIAL BURGLARY APPLICATIONS


Digital Monitoring Products has added the 1103 Universal Transmitter to its extensive selection of wireless devices. This two-input transmitter is typically used in commercial burglary door/window applications, and has earned the UL Commercial Burglary Listing. The 1103 includes an internal magnetic reed switch, an onboard terminal block for external contact wiring, and an end-of-line resistor. Both the internal and external contacts can be pro- grammed to operate simultaneously, yielding two independent zones from one transmitter.
