T2 SYSTEMS PARTNERS WITH DIGITAL PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES
Enforcement of pay-by-space systems is
currently a labor-intensive activity. One parking lot may be served by multiple machines and the enforcement officer must visit each machine, produce a printout of current space utilization, and then walk through the lot to compare actual occupancy with the printout. During this time, parkers come and go, and the printout becomes obsolete fairly quickly. T2 Systems’ new partnership with Digital Payment Technologies
(DPT) will help
enforcement officers become more productive and increase citation collections. Integration of the T2 Flex handheld software and DPT’s Luke and Shelby pay stations allows officers to enforce parking rules and issue citations without having to visit each pay station to get a list of paid and unpaid spaces.
