Stinson Equipment’s ‘Doug’ Pearsall dies
Douglass G. “Doug” Pearsall passed away Feb. 26 at the
West Island Palliative Care Residence inMontreal, Canada. He was 78. While tending to business at Stinson Equipment Inc.,
which he helped develop formore than 35 years,Mr. Pearsall made somany dear friends that he could never quite consider retirement. His influence will live on for years through the staff that cherished himso. His battle with cancer was well fought for a few years,
but the past couple of months were especially
difficult.All the support of his family, and of his many friends dispersed around the globe, causedMr. Pearsall to count himself as one of themost fortunate ofmen. His passions included travel, boating, writing and join-
ing upwith friends.He pursued his interestswithmuch deter- mination and left few adventures unrealized. Mr. Pearsall is survived by his second wife, Diane; a
daughter and son; a stepson; and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St-Mary’sHospital Foundation or theWest Island Palliative Care Residence Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
