Meal is usually met with a shrug from the parents and an afternoon of enjoyment, at best, from the child. Te late Helen Lunsford took a


different approach. Rather than discarding the toys, she kept them in a box. A few years before her death in


2004, she took them all out and used the toys as decorations on a Christmas tree. Her sister-in-law, Linda Fox,


thought so much of the tree that af- ter Lunsford passed, she decided to display the treasured recollections and make them into a memory tree for the Reems Creek community. Since taking over Reems Creek
