and 10-year-old in
They also compete together at under-14 level in doubles. The brothers attend Oban Badminton Club and play against adults in order to find a competitive match. ‘We sometimes let the adults win,’ joked Stewart. ‘It de- pends who it is. ‘Playing against them is
good for us because we learn things from them. If you want to learn a new trick, you can usually pick something up.’ The badminton-playing brothers also take part in
football, tennis, swimming and running but say badmin- ton remains their favourite sport. Harry said: ‘In compe- titions we have to be serious but normally we just play to have fun and keep fit. ‘We play badminton three or four times a week, whenever there are courts available.’ Stewart added: ‘Badminton is a great sport because it is fast and keeps you fit.’ Oban Badminton Club meets on Tuesdays (8-10pm) and Thursdays (6-8pm) in Atlan- tis Leisure.
