Comes Highly RECOMMENDED

“Portraiture in open spaces has always been my preferred method of expression. Over a twenty-fi ve year period, I photographed D-Day veterans in Normandy. Their weathered, stoic faces deserved a paper surface capable of conveying all the emotion. I wanted the look of a traditional darkroom print with rich blacks and intense whites to give a timeless or perennial feel to the image.

“Canson Baryta Photographique 310gsm was my choice – darkroom tradition with inkjet archival permanence” – Ian Patrick
