We have currently NVIS modified nearly

one hundred helicopters for two of the largest HEMS operators in the country and for a variety of law enforcement ships for police departments nationwide, and have provided specialized modi- fications on numerous

fixed-wing aircraft for

State Department use. We supply NVIS com- pliant OEM instrumentation for two major rotary wing aircraft manufacturers. In conjunction with United Rotorcraft Solutions of Decatur, Texas, we can perform installations nearly anywhere in the world. It is not necessary to bring the aircraft to us. We have the experience and knowledge to do the job right. STC’d installations within the con- tinental U.S. can generally be accomplished in three days so that the aircraft is not out of serv- ice for an extended period. Ahlers currently holds twenty NVIS modifi-

versions. Our engineering staff has many years of experience in both civil and military NVIS appli- cations. Our standard STC’d

civil conversion

makes extensive use of external filtering and the use of existing instrument and cabin lighting to control cost and provide a user-friendly applica-

tion that usually does not require airframe re- wiring or added fixturing.

If required or desired,

however, Ahlers can supply everything from sim- ple post-light or glare-shield floodlight conver- sions all the way to fully internal NVIS lighting modifications of all instrumentation and avionics.
