Eating out this Christmas? SEnine has canvassed a few restaurants in and around Eltham to see what they have planned for Christmas.
Christmas Mediterranean-style is on the menu at the ever-popular Eletriq Café in Eltham’s High Street.
Three course menus at £19.50 and £23.75 feature Italian favourites and traditional options. Starters include as prawn and avocado cocktail, goat’s cheese and vegetables, soup and oven roasted mushrooms.
The mains include grilled rump steak, lemon chicken and sea bass together with lasagne and a range of pasta and pizzas. Special puds include ‘Christmas Fizz’ sorbet, banoffi pie, fudge cake and panettone, filter coffee included.
The festive menus are available for parties numbering between two and 40 and booking in advance is a must.
Musical attractions include Thursday night light piano classics from Yeumeng Chang, Friday piano jazz with Aidan Glover and Saturday acoustic guitar with Steve Mac.
The Café will be open throughout the festive period, apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day; last orders on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve are at 8pm.

The Stuffed Olive is an imitate experience but the menu is bold and has something to offer most diners.

if you have not visited Nicos since the refurbishment you are in for a surprise, it is really worth the visit. One of the impressive things about Nicos is the glass wall between the dining area and the kitchen that allows you to see into the kitchen without the accompanying noise and smells. This is a very friendly establishment with great service.
There are Michael Bublé and ABBA tribute nights trough November and December with prices from £19.95 to £35.00.
Open Christmas Day the classy Greek themed New Eltham restaurant has a five course meal priced at £56.00 with children eating for half price at £23.00.
New Years Eve is also five courses and includes a glass of pink champagne on arrival to get you in the spirit. This is all in the price of £64.95. There will be a live singer present for the New Years celebrations.
Nicos can accommodate large parties and have a private upstairs room if you require it.

A full festive programme of menus, events and parties are an offer in the attractive and historic surroundings of the Tudor Barn.
From November 20 and through the entire Christmas and New Year period, the Barn will offer the best of traditional and modern cooking.
Christmas menus from £18.95 feature traditional turkey and trimmings joined by roast beef with fish and vegetarian options. It’s the best of British cooking with a ‘gourmet’ twist, available for parties and private bookings.
On Christmas Day, a special menu will be available for family lunches, half price for the under 12s.
Offices, groups and organisations might want to join a ‘shared party’ night on Friday December 10 with entertainment and dancing in the Tudor Gallery.
Special events include Christmas Eve dinner with music and a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and Dance Cabaret Show and Disco.
On Boxing Day, Monday and Tuesday Bank Holidays and New Year’s Day, ‘Bank Holiday Brunch’ will be available offering a range of snacks and light meals from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
