drawings of the new £1m

plus re-development of Eltham Baths have been released.

NEWS

Under proposals now before Greenwich Council, London and Quadrant Housing are planning to build 78 self-contained flats on the site.

The development would be up to six storeys and comprise a mixture of private and social housing. More than 20 of the units are being especially designed for people over 50, a growth demand category for housing.

The car parking on the site will be trebled, with a space allocated to each unit and accommodated in a basement area on the site, accessed from Sherard Road.

Eltham baths closed at the end of 2008 after having served the local community since the 1930s
