from the fact that Pressley will be moving into the young men’s age division next year. Pressley will be competing against older, more seasoned competitors than he competed against this year. “He needs to keep practicing so that he doesn’t lose
any of the knowledge,” Lindholme said. “So that he builds on and perfects his technique. He was at the top of his division, but next year he’ll be at the bottom of the age group.” Along with competing and winning in the highest of

the U.S. Junior Olympics age divisions, Pressley’s goals list includes the hopes of breaking the NBHS records for discus, competing in conference and state meets in discus, throwing in college, opening up his own gym, coaching a throwing team and one day competing in the Olympics. “College has kind of been the big thing here lately,”
Pressley said. “But I also would love to coach, and I think I could. Te middle school coach asked me to help some of the kids out down there, so I’ll probably be doing that in the spring. I definitely want to try and make it to state in discus. And to get to compete in the Olympics one day, that’d be amazing.” Pressley credited his coaches, O’Connor and his par-
ents for getting him to this point. Lindholme is equally as thankful to be working with Pressley. Lindholme said, “I’m blessed to
have athletes like him to work with. His personality, attitude and desire for the sport would make any coach look good. He’s such a good person and definitely a natural athlete- he has incredible athleticism and in- credible talent.” Lindholme also sees a similar,
successful future for Pressley as the one he sees for himself. “Logan is definitely going to be
someone to watch in the future,” Lindholme said. “He’s going to be doing a lot and I wholeheartedly believe that we will see him in the Olympics throwing the hammer.”
