DISCOVER the scenic delights of the beautiful estuary aboard the new “Rivermaid” excursion ferry, the only vessel that plies between Kingsbridge and Salcombe, and cruises all the navigable creeks.
Trips pass desirable waterside properties, some half-hidden away; there’s old Newbridge, historic limekilns, vintage wrecks, luxury yachts, marine activity and an abundance of birdlife, particularly in the upper reaches; and tranquil creeks, where occasionally a seal may be seen.

Displays of uniforms, kit and equipment show a glimpse of the soldiers’ life during the 1939 - 1945 period. Items from other conflicts include personal weapons and equipment from WW1, an Argentinean gun and Mercedes jeep from the Falklands War, and a Centurion tank from the First Gulf War.
The collection spreads
