The idea, she explains, was to create a “high quality be- ginner county show,” and she’s having a blast learning the ropes of running horse shows. “I wanted to make a local show series that would be high quali- ty—'A' circuit type jumps and 'A' circuit judges and 'A' circuit crew. They can spend $500 and have an affordable way to bring along young horses and riders. It’s kind of my little invention because I do a lot of green horses and have young riders and riders than need to prac- tice for the bigger medals,” Golden explains. "Es- pecially for the Series’ own Medal Final, the Bolsa Chica Medal Finals. The Champion of the Bolsa Chica wins a surfboard and Reserve Champion wins a custom skateboard.” The last show of the series will be held August

However, aside from those events, the story is of the true heart of an equestrian center, the people behind the scenes working to save horses, bring- ing the local community into the center, and creating an environ- ment where the horse is placed above all else.
