many times, always making the best effort to experience and see as much as possible on their adventures. Te couple, who began their European adventures 30 years ago, have made many return voyages over the years. Most recently the couple complet-


ed a tour of 10 countries in northern Europe while sailing the Baltic and North seas with the Oceania Cruise Line. Teir tour began in London and concluded in Stockholm. Te tour took two weeks to complete with stops in Germany, Russia, Fin-


land, Denmark, Latvia and Estonia in between spending roughly a day in various cities in each country. Troughout the years, the couple


have visited more than 20 European countries and cities, admiring the unique cultural, artistic and architec- tural styles of each. When asked to describe a favorite


location, Lyle said, “Each place was so different. Tey were all my favorite places.” He described the castles of St. Pe-


tersburg, Russia as the “most elegant in Europe” but enjoyed taking in the different architectural values and styles of every unique city he trav- eled. For the couple, the trip was just an-


other elegant vacation spent traveling to both familiar and completely new locations.
