COLOR Weaverville IHOP opens its doors
By Matt Tate Something about the buttery
and syrupy mixture make pan- cakes a perfect cure-all for many of those early-morning ailments. Now North Buncombe has an
entire restaurant dedicated to their craft. IHOP opened Monday (March
8) in Weaverville. The breakfast- centric eatery boasts a wide range of sunrise entrees as well as more standard lunch and dinner af- fairs. Store manager Tammy Wilcox
said the location is rolling out a soft opening but expects steady business as word spreads. IHOP is located in the Ace
Hardware shopping center on Weaver Boulevard. It is open from 7 am - 10 pm Monday-Sunday during this opening period, but will eventually move to a regu- lar schedule of 6:30 am to 10 pm Sunday-Thursday and 6:30 am- midnight Friday and Saturday. The phone number is 645-3800.
