Charles and Mary Wilson are celebrating their 50th wedding an-
niversary. Te couple was married on April 15, 1960.
Te couple has three children:
Linda Wilson and husband Mike from Alexander, Rebecca Ducker and husband Terry of Greensboro and Dennis Wilson and wife Pa- mela of Weaverville. Tey have four grandchildren:

Reeves Surrett, of Leicester are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Vanessa Ann Surrett, also of Leicester, to Marshall Burton Adams, formerly of Flat Rock, Mich. Miss Surrett and her family are former residents of the East Fork community in Madison County. Mr. Adams is the son of the late Alice Adams of Flat Rock, Mich., and Roger Ad- ams, of Raleigh. Te bride’s mater- nal grandparents are the late Pansy and Roy Ogle, both of Marshall, and her paternal grandparents are the late Essie and Jess Surrett, both
of Leicester. Te groom’s mater- nal grandparents are Agnes Lamb and the late Burton Lamb, both of Inkster, Mich., and his paternal grandparents are Ralph and Kay Adams, both of Manorville, NY. Te bride attended Clyde A. Erwin High School and graduated in the Class of 2008. Te groom attend- ed Millbrook High School and graduated in the Class of 2004. Te couple are planning a private wedding ceremony in April 2010. Te reception is to be announced and held at a later date. Te couple plan to reside in Leicester, North Carolina.
