Hall of Fame W
hat happens after an awards ceremony is over? Life goes on after the confetti is swept away, the champagne glasses are washed and dried, and the curtains have been closed. For our alums, the life that goes on is distin-
guished by achievement.
Whether they’re commanding naval ships, running multi-national corporations, or leading the advancements in global technology, our Hall of Fame inductees have more than honored the promise we saw when we first recognized them. These men and women live the great American narrative of innovation against the odds. They don’t wake up and count down the hours until 5pm Friday; they wake up and wonder how they can better our world. Their ingenuity has changed the ways we live, and, often, it has saved lives.
Our alums seek out what is missing not only in the boardroom or the lab, but also in their communities, and they fill those gaps. They inspire by example. They’ve laid down the footprints for future genera- tions to follow. By offering these women and men a place in our Hall of Fame, we offer their incredible histories as templates for success. They are true heroes; sharing their stories is our imperative.
