ony Professional has announced a new range of Bravia B2B displays. The com- pany has developed the range to meet the anticipated demand for TVs with professional fea- tures in applications includ- ing digital signage. Research suggests that, in 2012, 60% of the digital signage market will be covered by television products.

Maxime Clairet, public dis- play product specialist at Sony Professional, explained: “Our new range of Bravia screens broadens our product portfo- lio by allowing us to bring our expertise and experience with consumer televisions into the digital signage market. Strong demand for out-of-home digital signage is driven by the need to reach consumers closer to the point of purchase and for organisations to communicate with their customers more effec- tively.”

The new BRAVIA B2B range is available in four sizes - 32”, 40”, 46” and 55”. To cater for the hotel industry, the B2B Bravia range has a hotel mode which allows the user to select a default channel, show the time and limit the sound volume.

Midwich has signed an exclusive contract with Toshiba to supply the new Stasia and Regza series of LCD business displays. Midwich is currently the UK’s largest supplier of dis- plays for commercial appli- cations and the distributor has already enjoyed con- siderable success with the Commercial Pro range from LG. Commenting on the new deal, Lee Baker, busi- ness manager at Midwich, said: “We are delighted to secure an exclusive on these new business displays from Toshiba. These prod- ucts are ideal for business, education, leisure and hos- pitality applications, and Toshiba offers a full reliabil- ity refund guarantee on the Stasia range.”

TCD signs TV One

rue Colours has signed a new deal with TV One.
