Paradigm Shift. What does it mean?

It can be used in the context of ‘the old

paradigm versus the new paradigm’, so it could be understood as a ‘way of doing things’. Paradigm Shift means change of method or system, or change of perception.

How do you say it? If you were educated in England

you will most likely be unable to pronounce ‘paradigm’ the fi rst time you see it. If, however, you were educated in Scotland, Ireland or Wales you’ll probably get it fi rst time. This is a pattern I have observed over the last seven years - must be something to do with the way we have been taught to read. ‘Janet and John - Look and Read’ books did me no favours according to my Mum! Nevertheless, it sounds like words that end in -ign, eg. design, align, resign, or to make it even easier, say it like this - ‘para-dime’. If you have been saying ‘para-didge-m’, ‘para-dig- m’ or para-gym’ then its time to change, or shift even!

What on Earth are you talking about? In this

publication we are using Paradigm Shift in the context of the global shift in consciousness taking place at the moment. We are on the threshold of a quantum shift in the perception and experience of our reality - it is as profound as the introduction of speech, or the development of the wheel. We are moving from the condition where we are aware of ourselves as separate from everything around us, to the realisation that, in fact, we are everything around us - Planet Earth and all its occupants are one being.

We are starting to experience unity consciousness,

and through a process of awakening we are starting to fi nd ourselves in the ‘oneness’. We are existing in a fi eld of consciousness that comprises all of the energy in existence, a fi eld with its own intelligence, often referred to as God, Source, Creation, the Grand Architect, the Universe etc. We can connect with this source of all creation through the ‘gateway’ of our ‘heart centres’.

Many of the people waking up to the new reality fi nd

themselves having psychic or mystical experiences, they become very sensitive to the subtle energies around people and places and can become quite ill, or experience dramatic life changes. Many people initially think they are going mad as their health falls apart, their mental and emotional processes become unpredictable, and they fi nd it hard to function normally in the moderrn world.

With some support and guidance it is quite possible to

correct these transitional symptoms, and once people become attuned to the new frequencies it all starts to make sense.

While this magazine has been primarily produced for

those who have become ‘sensitive’ and begun to experience these life changes, the contents are relevant to anyone with an interest in Metaphysics, Enlightenment, Ascension and the ‘new spirituality’ - which is, of course, as old as the hills.

As we begin to connect with this fi eld of consciousness

we may fi nd ourselves communicating with beings from other dimensions such as Angels and Ascended Masters, or simply our own higher selves. These consciousnesses, or beings, have much knowledge and wisdom to share and can help us on our spiritual journey, so we include their messages in this magazine.

When reading channelled messages we need to be aware

that the original stream of consciousness is passing through the fi lter of all the life experiences, and viewpoints, of the channeller. The message will be interpreted, and potentially altered, by this fi lter to a greater or lesser degree. The best channels are able to allow the message through with as little distortion as possible, and it is generally obvious when the channeller has included a lot of their own ideas. Ideally you should read a channelled message from your heart centre and in this way you will be able to discern what is truth for you.
