Theta DNA Healing
by Jenny Johnstone
THETA HEALING, ALSO KNOWN AS THETA DNA HEALING OR
the Orion Technique, is the simplest, most elegant and most effective healing technique that I have ever come across. It
combines both science and spirituality and yet is extremely practical and pragmatic in its application. There are now many books and fi lms telling us about the theory of healing or manifesting. If you have seen ‘The Secret’, or read the books by Esther and Gerry Hicks, you will understand the principle of manifesting what we want, but it is often diffi cult in practice to switch over from long-held negative thought patterns to new resourceful ones. Theta Healing is the missing piece – it is the ‘how- to-do-it’ part!
It was developed by naturopath, medical intuitive and
healer, Vianna Stibal, (
www.thetahealing.com) who created a model of what she instinctively did when she healed herself from cancer and when healing her clients. She then refi ned the model over a period of years and added the belief work to give us the technique we have today. It is a technique that is at the same time very ancient and yet very modern.
The process involves entering a Theta brainwave state, in
which it is possible to connect to the Source energy or the Quantum Field and, by the effortless application of quantum physics, to change in an instant thought patterns that might have been held for years or even generations. Changing these thought patterns or beliefs, manifests a different reality.
It is now becoming accepted that our thought patterns
change our body chemistry, and even our DNA, and that negative thoughts and beliefs can create disease and emotional problems. So, once negative and unhelpful beliefs or thoughts are changed, the disease or problem they have created can no longer persist – THINGS HAVE TO CHANGE?
In a Theta healing session the aim is to uncover the
negative beliefs that have led to the current problem and to change them instantly, replacing them with positive and helpful ones that will nurture and support us. It is sometimes also necessary to ADD information or feelings that weren’t there before, eg. ‘I know how to stand up for myself ’, ‘I know how to accept love’, ‘I know what it feels like to be nurtured’ . . .
As far as our daily lives are concerned, we create our own
realities from the core beliefs that we hold. For example, if we hold a core belief of ‘I am unlovable’ we will go through life not feeling loved, no matter how many people try to love us along
For students on LCTA’s acupuncture course, clinical
experience begins as observation of experienced practitioners in a classroom setting, alongside a range of one-to-one clinical consultations. In the later stages of the course, students work with their own case load of patients in the Teaching Clinic. This Clinic is run by students and offers low-cost acupuncture to other students and to the general public. See below for more details.
Since LCTA began in 1995, it has attracted a group
of exceptional teachers. The teaching staff are all highly experienced professionals - some with international reputations - who all practise Chinese medicine regularly.

the way. How wonderful to be able to change ‘I am unlovable’ to ‘I am truly loved’ and to see the shift in the world about us. Just imagine the possibilities for change! And, by the way, we all have these limiting beliefs. Some of them may not even be ours but may have been passed down to us by our parents or our culture and are held in our DNA - but they affect us nevertheless. Do you recognise any of these?
Men let me down Women have to make everybody happy I am excluded It is not safe to love Love equals control
Other people are more important than me Nobody listens to me Suffering brings me closer to God People like us never get rich I am too stupid to get on in life I have to be perfect Everyone in our family has heart problems
Imagine the impact these have upon our lives. The good
news is that they are just as easy to change regardless of where they come from!
It is also possible to use the Theta technique to scan inside
the body and to bring about healing once the underpinning beliefs have been changed. I personally have recovered from ME by changing my beliefs and have also now got new ligaments in my ankle (torn 40 years ago) as a result of a healing last year, and I have witnessed many amazing healings – from cut fi ngers to recovery from life-threatening illnesses. I have frequently seen clients get over long-standing emotional problems in as little as one session.
As the World changes and we want to have everything
instantly, Theta Healing offers a method of rapid healing as well as an opportunity to change ourselves and our lives for the better. We can evolve our consciousness so that we can reach our true potential and create a wonderful reality for ourselves and those around us. It is truly amazing!

“When I was fi rst drawn to the idea of Oriental medicine
as a new and fulfi lling career, it was the spirit and soul of it that inspired me most. Twenty six years later I still feel the same! Our training is of the highest possible calibre, and ensures that students meet all the expectations of their patients.”
