it, we are on to his CD., and who knows from there. His call name is Polo. He is registered as Caray Hill St.'s Let's Play Polo.

What titles have you or your puppy buyers put on dogs you have bred? Titles that I have put on my own dogs include CH.,PT,CD,CDX,TDI,RN. Titles that have been put on dogs that I have bred pretty much run the full gamut.

What made your decision to start breeding? I decided to breed to keep the structure, purpose and intelligence in the breed, plus I had several folks who want- ed a Bosco puppy. They were training clients of mine familiar with the temperament and activity level of the breed. I hoped that crossing the strong working abilities of the Far Fetched lines with the show lines of the Sun- farm kennel would produce pups with the potential for great achievement from both sides. We were successful producing great temperament, biddibility, and correct type.

What dog/bitch to date is your best dog/bitch produced and why? My best dog to date was my first ACD, Bosco. Not because he was my first, but because he produced so damn well. Bosco had titles at both ends, and he produced progeny that achieved the same. He was a joy to live with. He was able to go from one venue to the next without the blink of an eye. He was always aware of where I was at...and did not have an aggressive bone in his body(with one exception). We were walking on a creek trail one day and a large mix breed came barreling out of the water. He was soaking wet, and proceeded to jump on me in sheer glee. I screamed as I was not expecting that. Bosco took him down in one swift swoop. He held him onto the ground and when the owner came running up, she at first thought her dog had decked mine. She was shocked to see her huge dog, frozen in fear with Bosco giving him fair warning. That is the only time I ever saw him act aggressively. What a great dog he was.

When deciding on a breeding do you outcross, line- breed, inbreed or a combination of all? Our best successes in our breeding program have been out- crosses. We recently tried a grand dam to grandson breed- ing, and the results were not as good as our former out- crosses.

Do you breed to outside females and if so what is your criteria? We do breed to selected outside bitches. We first evaluate structure and how that will blend with the structure of our stud. If we feel it will be a good breeding, then we want to see a clear Brucellosis test, and the usual BAER, hip, and PRCD test.

Who influenced your breeding choices the most & why? I can't say that any one person has influenced our breeding choices. I can say that we always strive to impart our original line (going back to Craig Watson's lines) because we feel this line has all the characteristics we want to see in our puppies. We can always outcross away from that line to improve upon it.
