Krasnick to Open Office in Naples

C

ancer coach and certified counselor and hypnotherapist with more than 20 years experience, A.Nick Krasnick, CMCH, CHt, is opening a new office in Naples.

Krasnick, who also maintains an office on Marco Island, practices psychoneuroim- munology, a relatively new branch of science that studies the interactions between the mind and the nervous and immune systems to help battle illnesses, including cancer. “Nearly every one of us has been touched by cancer in some way, either through

a close friend or relative, or as a patient ourselves,” says Krasnick. “Yet there are very few resources available for patients to help them deal with the anxiety caused by a cancer diagnosis, or pain management and the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Both hypnotherapy and other proven techniques can provide the cancer patient with an integrative approach to healing.” Krasnick’s services include anxiety and depression counseling, breathing and

relaxation training, grief counseling and chronic pain management, among others. He provides same-day appointments, nearly 24/7 access and in-home visits.

New Health Assessment Breakthrough Available

I

ndividuals seeking a safe, non-invasive way to monitor their health and assess risk factors have

a new option available. Digital infrared thermal imaging (DITI), considered a breakthrough in cancer detection, is now offered at Florida Medi- cal Thermography, with offices in Lee, Charlotte and Collier counties. DITI scans show the body’s thermal patterns and can detect inflammation, nerve and vascular changes that are invisible to X-rays and MRIs. The DITI system, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, requires

no physical contact and is radiation-free. According to James Nezam, company CEO and a certified clinical thermographer, DITI reveals how efficiently the body’s organs are functioning.
