Happehatchee Hosts Reiki and Special Meditations

L

ate spring and summer are bringing new opportunities for self-growth

to the Happehatchee Center in Estero. Reiki sessions are now available by appointment, and weekly meditations to foster spiritual enlightenment have also begun. Individual Reiki sessions can

be scheduled with Jackie Aaron, a yoga instructor who became certified in Reiki five years ago. This gentle form of non-invasive, hands-on healing strengthens and replenishes an individuals chi, or life-force energy. The indoor sessions offer a peaceful, panoramic view of Happehatchee’s natural setting. Gita Patel will lead Monday evening meditations at 7 p.m. Her techniques,

drawn from years of truth-seeking experience, help meditators “connect with the Divine and reach the ‘No Mind’ state of being. An inspirational message or story is shared as a vehicle for insight and wisdom,” Patel explains. “Sharing personal experiences is encouraged to allow for open discussion and fellowship. Connect- ing in oneness and total freedom to inner peace and joy is the ultimate result, as we are transformed and evolve to our highest potential.” Happehatchee Center regularly hosts a variety of events, including music, dance

and poetry performances; crystal bowl meditations; drum and healing circles; and yoga and Qigong classes.

Location: 8791 Corkscrew Rd. To schedule an appointment with Aaron, call 239-992-0956 or email Jackie@ReikiForEverybody.com. For more info on Patel’s sessions, call 239-246-4441 or visit SacredLotusGita@gmail.com. Also visit Happe- hatcheeCenter.org.
