CanvaSS oUT-rEaCH For EQUalITY
It’s never too late, you can be part of the force that gives marriage back to
California’s LGBT community! Project OUT-Reach is an in-person campaign that
puts a face to the issue. On Saturday, August 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
join Robert Close and venture into the areas around San Diego County looking
for new supporters while educating the community about what’s happening
around the issue of marriage equality. Help in getting everyone involved in
the next steps towards equality! To be successful we cannot just organize in
areas that are supportive. We must also reach out to communities that have
not traditionally been our allies in this fight. We will have conversations with
people, both at their doors and in busy public spaces to raise consciousness
about the issue as well as funds for the cause. You are encouraged to bring
friends and family along. For a detailed schedule of the day, please RSVP via
e-mail to
volunteer@marriageequalitysd.org with the number of people you
will be bringing. You can also e-mail Robert Close at
fireworkrc@gmail.com or
visit
marriageequalitysd.org. Let us know if you speak Spanish so we can have
enough materials in Spanish. The training area will be held at Lips Restaurant in
North Park: 3036 El Cajon Blvd.
