8 from noon - 6:00 p.m. According to GLU, more than 200 people attended last
year’s blowout event and enjoyed a fabulous fashion show, dancing go-go

Cityfest really knows how to turn us on! …By celebrating the silver an-
niversary of the lighting of the beloved Hillcrest sign, of course! With more
than 250 arts, crafts and food vendors, a grand stage, a beer garden and
a beautiful lantern parade, the 2009 bash is perfect for a friends’ group
outing or even a good spot for a first date.
Grand STaGE EnTErTaInmEnT
On Sunday, August 9 from noon to 10:00 p.m., the Grand Stage on Fifth
Ave. and University, will feature ten hours of regional musicians—fully
visible from the Spirit’s Garden beer area. The Grand Stage lineup starts
with Knives! at noon and continues with China Clippers, Royal Campain,
F.U.Z.Z., Team Abraham, Run Honey, Pauhana, Tighten Ups and UBUV
