Grand Opening

rban Oaks Organic Farm in New
Britain, CT invites you to join us
for a grand opening celebration and
fundraiser for our new farm store and
office on Saturday, May 2nd from 3:00-
5:00pm. Enjoy prepared foods from a
variety of local chefs, guest speakers,
live music, our full farm stand of organic
produce and much fun and celebration.
As a result of the generosity of the city of
New Britain, Pete’s Garage on the corner
of Oak and Lasalle Streets has been ren-
ovated and leased to the farm for use as
a farm store and office. This addition will
allow Urban Oaks to not only regain use
of an additional greenhouse for growing
organic herbs and greens for wholesale
and retail purchase, but also will afford
them the opportunity to increase the
farm stand’s hours of being open to the
public.
Please join the Urban Oaks commu-
nity and help us celebrate this new ad-
dition and 10 years of business growing
organic produce. A suggested donation
of $25 is greatly appreciated and will se-
cure a bright future for Urban Oaks and
the community that it serves.
