in motocross. He took home championships in all three
classes he raced Plus 25, 30, and 35. If it hadn’t been for
a second place finish in the plus 25 in supercross, Johnson
would have been looking at a perfect week. Nonetheless it
was a great week for him and we can’t wait to see what he

As I was sitting watching some races one afternoon
up on the hill this lil brown headed boy came up to
me and my friend Seth. Seth introduced him to me as
Cameron Cannon and it being the beginning of the week
I didn’t recognize the name. He went on to tell me how
fast Cameron is and he wasn’t joking. South Carolina’s
Cameron Cannons name hasn’t been on the scene much,
but after his week at Mini O that will change. Cannon put
himself on the podium in SX and when Motocross came
around he tore it up in the 65 7-9 class. He pulled off
both holeshots and led every lap of every race to go onto
to take both of the motocross titles. If Cameron and his
family make the trek to Texas he will no doubt be a huge
title threat in the 65 7-9 classes.
One of Team Greens heavy hitters, Thomas Covington,
put it on the boys in the 85 (9-11) stock and mod classes.
Especially on the motocross track as he took every moto
win. If Covington didn’t have enough hype around him
already he will definitely have a lot now. Thomas won three
out of four titles when the week was over and is going into
Texas looking for a perfect week.
“I fell twice and was really mad, but it was definitely
one of my best races in a long time”. Those are the words
of Illinois native Chase Sexton. Chase was going into the
