Ch. Austlyn's Hobo Go Sunshine
Breeder: Lynda Rocksvold
Owner: Lynda Rocksvold

I still remember the first time we saw Pete. Stan and I drove for hours to watch a herding
trial that we heard would have some nice Cattle Dogs entered. We were still new to the
breed but wanted to learn about herding. The talk was about a female named Kate
owned by a couple from So. Calif. What a spitfire she was when she entered the arena!!
Later there was a young male that we took note of that we also enjoyed watching. He was
very focused on his livestock and also his handler who turned out to be the same one that
had Kate. We later learned they were mother and son.

When it came time that we
wanted to breed our 1st Cattle-
Dog bitch we hardly had to dis-
cuss that we hoped to breed to
the young male we had by then
seen a few times. Steve and
Julie took Stan and Jetta in like
old friends and for us, the rest
was our beginning.

Pete and Jetta had 7 pups and
what a litter that was for me.
My favorite one and I got to see
almost all of them on livestock.
From that litter, they produced….

Pete was and is an important part of our foundation. I will always be grateful to Steve and
Julie for allowing us to add Pete and Kate to our backgrounds and for being so kind to
newbie's.
