BALKAN ADDS EXTRA TOUCHES Balkan Holidays has become the UK launch customer of “Paxpartner”, Paxport’s travel agent interface for ancillary flight services. Agents selling Balkan Holidays flying with BH Air and booking via the dedicated agents website will be able to directly pre-book various in flight services including choice of seating, extra legroom, front row seats, extra checked baggage allowance and carriage of skis and golf clubs.
CANADA/BERMUDA PRESTIGE FAM Prestige Holidays is to host two agent fam trips to Canada this year: one to Alberta in June and the second in October, combining a stay in Ontario with the island of Bermuda. The trip to Alberta will take in Calgary, Banff, Jasper and Vancouver and the Ontario fam will feature a three-night stay in Toronto, a visit to the Niagara Falls and four-night break in Bermuda.
SANDALS’ WEDDING INCENTIVE Sandals Resorts has introduced a new wedding-themed competition, Sell and Celebrate. From March 29 until May 31, 2012, qualified agents will receive a £50 high street voucher for every upgraded Sandals wedding package that they book.
MOBILE MOVE FOR DIRECT TRAVELLER Direct Traveller has launched a North Cyprus iPhone app, featuring information on the area, maps, photos, and videos. The free app includes interactive resort guides on North Cyprus, Kyrenia, Nicosia, Famagusta and Guzelyurt, as well as video footage of hotels and other attractions.

OLYMPIC PARTNERS WITH AEGEAN Olympic Holidays has signed a new deal with Aegean Airlines to provide flights on certain routes this summer. The first routes announced are Birmingham to Cyprus, Humberside to Crete, Belfast to Cyprus, and Belfast to Rhodes with more routes planned. The first Aegean Airlines departure for Olympic Holidays is on May 4.
