including a six-module online training course. Pass the course to become a Bajan Expert. Then you can start collecting points for every Barbados
holiday you sell, and use the points to gain discounts on accommodation, restaurants, car hire and attractions when you visit Barbados. Members of the Bajan Club also

The BTA’s Cedric Lynch gave agents these top tips on selling Barbados
FINE WEATHER: As the most easterly Caribbean island, tropical storms or hurricanes have little or no power by the time they reach Barbados – “God lives here but visits other places”. So you can sell it confidently even in these periods.
PURE WATER: Barbados is a coral island, and the rock acts like a Brita filter – the drinking water is super- pure, so you can save what you’d spend on bottled water to spend on rum!
SPORTS MAD:With five polo fields and eight golf courses, the island is big for sports tourism. Cricket is like a religion: approach your local cricket club to organise
a trip to Barbados for them.
CHILLED: It’s one of the safest and most friendly destinations in the world. If you get lost, just go into a rum shop and they will help.
LOTS TO DO: If you want to sit on the beach all day, it’s perfect. But if you’re looking for history, or flora and fauna, or adventure, we have those things too.
