Barbados After dark
The Bajan party that never stops
A night of fire-eating, limbo-dancing and live music at Harbour Lights was a highlight of the Gimme 5 trip – particularly Masala’s lead singer Phillip!
In Barbados there is something different to do every night of the week. Recommend these top nights out to your clients:
Monday
Harbour Lights has a live show from 7.30pm. It’s open until two in the morning with stilt-walkers, fire- breathers and dancing barefoot on the sand. It’s on Monday and Wednesday.
Tuesday Treat yourself to dinner in one of our top Zagat-rated restaurants. For a special occasion there’s The Cliff, for a cheaper option try Champers in the south.
Wednesday Go see the Roots & Rhythms show. It
Masala is hot!
Manisha Vadakul from Travel TIS was impressed by the band
“The band, Masala, was amazing, they sang so many different genres – it’s the most amazing band I’ve ever seen. Clients

wouldn’t be able to have the same experience as it was put on for us, but I’ll be telling clients to go and watch the band at McBrides. “Carnival was amazing too; I want to come back for Crop Over. If you thought the mini-carnival
was good, imagine what Crop Over would be like. I’ve been to other Caribbean islands and I think this has felt the safest, and the people are so friendly. If you’re staying at Almond Casuarina, you have to try the BBC cocktail – bananas, Baileys and cream, it’s yum!”
