Top of the Rock in New York’s Rockefeller Center gives couples breathtaking views across Manhattan’s iconic skyline

MALTA. Shelley Perry Wedding and groups coordinator, Belleair Holidays

I’ve worked for Belleair Holidays for 17 years and have organised thousands of weddings on the stunning Maltese islands. My personal favourite venue is the Villa Arrigo in San Pawl Tat-Targa, which is an exclusive, desirable area of Malta. The villa offers stunning views and its extensive gardens, with fairy lights and foun- tain, provide a magical atmosphere for a special occasion. I would choose to wed here because it’s an intimate venue with several ceremony locations. You have the option of getting married in the garden, the villa or the conservatory overlooking the gardens. It’s in a great location close to lively seaside resorts, so guests can choose from a wide variety of hotels that suit every budget, all less than 25 minutes away. Book it: The villa costs £692 to hire for one hour for a maximum of 50 guests. Belleair has three levels of wedding packages: Bronze (£379), Silver (£795) and Gold (£1,195). ■ belleair.co.uk

NEW YORK. Hayat Bourner Weddings specialist, Virgin Holidays Who doesn’t love New

York? It’s such a fabulous city. In winter it’s a Christmas wonderland, in spring there are flowers down every avenue and in summer there’s boating in the park.

I’d marry at the Top of The Rock because of its iconic setting in the Rockefeller Center and jaw-dropping views across Manhattan’s skyline. I’m sure most of my friends and family would want to come and they could also take in the sights and shops. I’d stay at The London near Madison Avenue and fly into JFK airport on Virgin Atlantic Upper Class.

After our ceremony I’d head up town for a meal at The Four Seasons before finishing the night at a bar in downtown Soho. As for the honeymoon, that would have to be on the QE2! Book it: Virgin Holidays’ Luxury Wedding package starts from £1,179 and includes a taxi transfer to the Top of the Rock, the wedding ceremony and a bottle of champagne. ■ vhols4agents.co.uk

Le Meridien Limassol has a pier that it will cover in rose petals CYPRUS.

Tara Mylona Weddings

resort manager, Olympic Holidays I love the pier at the

five-star Le Meridien Limassol Spa & Resort in Cyprus. At sunset, decorated with rose petals, flower arrangements and lanterns it looks stunning. Everyone would remember a ceremony there.

I would have a violinist or string quartet rather than a CD, and I would go for a cocktail reception on the pier afterwards followed by a party in Le Vieux Village Cypriot taverna with dancers and a band. I think anyone getting married in Cyprus should give it a Cypriot flavour, so I’d eat local dishes including a meat and fish meze. Le Meridien makes a great base for the entire wedding party too, as there is so much for all ages to do there. Book it: A pier wedding at Le Meridien costs around £1,400 and the resort gives various extras for wedding couples staying a week or more. Olympic’s administration fee is £199, but is being discounted to £149 for weddings that are booked this March. ■ olympicholidays.com
