The MCRH can


accommodate flow rates of up to 5000 slpm, without compromising speed or precision of gas control.


The highly stable controller manages industrial processes with more chaotic upstream fluctuations,


such as control of industrial


combustion gases, or mass flow into food and packaging processes. The MCRH 5000 slpm precisely and rapidly controls mass flow rate, volumetric flow rate, or back pressure of gases in high flow processes. To overcome the poor turndown ratio and slow response of existing methods (such as interlinking a meter with an external valve) Alicat designed a new flow geometry.

The APP provides a library of information on 500+ compounds with IR spectra, chemical formula, molecular weight, boiling point etc. for each gas. There are also tools for Dew Point calculation, a ‘Combustion Calculator’ for estimating oxygen levels for different fuels, and a Unit Conversion tool is available for almost any compound, providing mg/m3 to ppm and vice versa, at zero or 20 DegC.

SD7000 Series sensors are highly accurate, with three electrodes instead of the two found in conventional combination pH and ORP sensors. Solution pH is measured differentially with process and inner reference (surrounded by a known concentrated pH 7 buffer) electrodes, compared to a third ground electrode.
